Initial situation
As part of the switch to AGOV-Login, you attempted to reset the password for your CH-LOGIN. To do this, you must have access to the email address associated with your CH-LOGIN account. Unfortunately, you no longer have access to this email account.For security reasons, we can only make the necessary changes to your email address in CH-LOGIN after you submit the request using the CH-LOGIN mutation form, along with a copy of an official photo ID, via email.

There you will find instructions for the process as well as a download link for the mutation form. - Print out the mutation form.
- Fill in the “My data” section of the form and check Option 1.
- Under Option 1, enter both the email address currently registered in CH-LOGIN and the new email address to which you have access.
- Make a copy of an official photo ID (e.g., passport or identity card).
- Send the completed form and the copy of your ID by email to servicedesk@bit.admin.c

- The service desk will check your request for completeness and contact you again.
- Once the mutation is completed, you can reset your CH-LOGIN password yourself and repeat the upgrade to your AGOV login.
