Instructions: Switch CH-LOGIN to AGOV
Support case «No mailbox access»

Initial situation

As part of the switch to AGOV-Login, you attempted to reset the password for your CH-LOGIN. To do this, you must have access to the email address associated with your CH-LOGIN account. Unfortunately, you no longer have access to this email account.

For security reasons, we can only make the necessary changes to your email address in CH-LOGIN after you submit the request using the CH-LOGIN mutation form, along with a copy of an official photo ID, via email.

Next steps

  1. Open the following page:
There you will find instructions for the process as well as a download link for the mutation form.
  2. Print out the mutation form.
  3. Fill in the “My data” section of the form and check Option 1.
  4. Under Option 1, enter both the email address currently registered in CH-LOGIN and the new email address to which you have access.
  5. Make a copy of an official photo ID (e.g., passport or identity card).
  6. Send the completed form and the copy of your ID by email to servicedesk@bit.admin.ch
    • Subject: CH-LOGIN mutation for AGOV-Login upgrade
    • Message: Free text as desired.
  7. The service desk will check your request for completeness and contact you again.
  8. Once the mutation is completed, you can reset your CH-LOGIN password yourself and repeat the upgrade to your AGOV login.
