Instruction: FED-LOGIN - forgot password
You have forgotten your FED-LOGIN password and would like to set a new one. You now have two options to do this:- For End users with a smartcard: You can log in directly to eIAM MyAccoun
t . In the Federal Administration network, you will be logged in directly and may have to carry out the smartcard login in the "Login and security" tab for adjustments. You can then manage your settings there. [This option is not described in detail in these instructions.
- For End users with a Mobile ID: You can reset your password using these instructions.

- Continue with email address and password.
You have forgotten your FED-LOGIN password and want to set a new one using your Mobile ID. Click on the link Continue with email and password
Enter your e-mail address and press Continue
You now want to set a new password Click on the link Forgot password? (Mobile ID only).
Now you have to enter the Phone number of your smartphone to which you registered the Mobile ID and press Continue.
You will now receive a SMS confirmation code on your smartphone, which you should enter here and press Continue.
When you press Continue, you will be prompted to authenticate with your Mobile ID on your smartphone. Please follow the instructions on your smartphone.
Click Accept once you have completed the steps on your smartphone.
You can now enter your new password, please follow the defined restrictions for it and then press Continue.
You have successfully set your new password.
Please press Next
