Instructions: CH-LOGIN - Adding the Mobile ID as Second Factor
- SIM card
In the context of the Federal Administration, the management of two-factor authentication with Mobile ID is not aimed at the general public. It can be used within the Federal Administration by invitation only.In exceptional cases, you must upgrade your existing electronic identity (CH-LOGIN & BYOI) to a substantially verified level, the so-called Level of Assurance 3 (LOA3) which corresponds to the QoA50 level. You will be explicitly invited by the Federal Administration if you need to do so. You will receive the invitation from your specialist contact at the Federal Administration together with a so-called MIO Code (Mobile ID onboarding code). This will allow you to link your Mobile ID SIM version (not App version) to the Federal Administration.
