Instructions: Switch CH-LOGIN to AGOV
Support case “Security questions forgotten”
Initial situation
During the switch to AGOV-Login, you no longer had access to a second factor for your CH-LOGIN. Therefore, you selected the option to authenticate via security questions. Unfortunately, you have forgotten these and now require assistance.For security reasons, we can only perform the required reset of your CH-LOGIN once you submit the request using the CH-LOGIN modification form, along with a copy of an official ID, via email.

You will find explanations about the form as well as the download link. - Print the modification form.
- Fill out the section “My Data” and select option 1.
- Choose one of the options 2 to 5 depending on how your CH-LOGIN was originally set up.
- Create a copy of an official photo ID (e.g. passport or ID card). Send both documents to: servicedesk@bit.admin.c

- Message: Free text as desired.

- The service desk will verify that your modification request is complete and will follow up with you.
- After the modification is complete, you will be able to repeat the upgrade to your AGOV-Login.
