Instructions: CH-LOGIN - Video identification (VIPS) for FIDO security key

In order to be able to raise your login to a substantially higher, verified level (LOA3/QoA50) using the 2FA option FIDO security key, you must go through this Video Identification (VIPS), which is subject to a charge (CHF 45.00 (incl. VAT)), where your identity is verified by a certified person.

Preparation

To be able to carry out the video identification, you need the following material:
  1. a notebook or smartphone with a webcam and a microphone.
    If your FIDO security key has a USB-C or NFC connection, we recommend using a smartphone, as the current models offer high image and sound quality.

  2. a means of payment such as MasterCard, Visa, ApplePay, GooglePay, SamsungPay, Twint, PostFinance Card, PostFinance E-Finance, American Express, PayPal or by voucher code from the Federal Administration.

  3. a valid official photo ID, passport or identity card in accordance with the Country list.

Video Identification (VIPS)

As soon as you have the necessary documents and means of payment ready, you can start the verification process during the service VIPS operating hours from Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 22:00. Log in to MyAccount with CH-LOGIN.

Under Login & Security at the bottom of the page, select the link Edit 2FA Settings.


Please enter your password and press Continue. .


Check the Enable advanced security settings box and press Close.


Under Login & Security, select the Select second factor under the following tile to carry out the video identification.


Please select the Passkey (FIDO) option for verification and press Continue.


Press Verify, to proceed with the advanced security check.


Enter your password and press Continue.


Please read the information and requirements to verify the FIDO security key.

Once you have the necessary documents and means of payment ready, press Continue..


Now enter your personal information and accept the condition that your data can be shared with Adnovum Informatik AG and Intrum AG for the verification process, then press Continue.

Important:
All details must match the identification (passport/identity card) used for the verification process.


You will be redirected to the Online Video Verification Service by pressing Continue after your entries have been verified.

VIPS Service hours:
Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 22:00


Online video identification. You must now read and confirm the terms of use and data protection. Then press Start Online Video Identification

If you are in possession of a Voucher-Code select the corresponding link "I have a voucher code" and follow the instructions otherwise please press Proceed to payment.


Select your Payment method and follow the instructions.

Payment was successful.
Press To the video identification as soon as you have your passport or ID, the webcam and microphone ready.


The online video verification process is carried out by Adnovum Informatik AG and Intrum AG (duration approx. 30 min / costs CHF 45.00 (incl. VAT)).


After successful vido verification press Continue to eIAM MyAccount.


Your verification is now complete and your trust level has been changed. Press Back to MyAccount


Your CH-LOGIN with the 2FA option FIDO security key is now LOA3/QoA50 verified and valid for 5 years.


Note:
Your user profile data in MyAccount can no longer be changed. Any change of the personal data will lead to a new verification with costs.
