Instruction: CH-LOGIN - Adding mTAN as Second Factor

Log in to MyAccount with CH-LOGIN.

Go to Login & Secure to the 2FA Management and press Register to register a second factor for login.

Select mobile number (mTAN).

Now select the 2FA option Mobile number (mTAN) and press Continue.

Only Swiss mobile numbers are accepted!


To make the change, the password must be entered.
Enter password.

Now enter your Password and press Continue.

If you have not yet entered your security questions, you will be asked to enter them here in an additional intermediate step.

Enter the Swiss mobile number (+41...).

Enter your swiss mobile device number with the country code +41 and perform the reCAPTCHA check, then press Continue.

You will now receive a confirmation code on your mobile device, which you must enter here and then press Save.

If you have not received a code, press New code.


A green pop-up message will then confirm the successful registration. Under the 2FA management in MyAccount, you will now see the mobile number (mTAN) registration, which you can remove or change if necessary.

The next time you LOGIN to MyAccount, you will receive an SMS code on your mobile device as a second factor identifier, which you must enter in addition to your password.
