MIO Code
If you received a MIO code (Mobile ID onboarding code) from your specialist contact at the Federal Administration, use that to connect your Mobile ID* to the Federal Administration (eIAM).If you then also carry out video identification (see ), for which you must be logged in with your Mobile ID as the credential, you will be able to access Federal Administration applications that require authenticated eIDs with strong credentials, so-called LOA3 applications.
There are very few LOA3 (QoA50) applications in the Federal Administration's eGovernment area. For this reason, you will receive a MIO code only if you are required to work with such an application by the Federal Administration.
