Instructions: Using or cancelling IE7 compatibility mode in Edge

The customer URL (e.g. ) is located in the Edge redirection list (edge://compat/enterprise).

This means that the Edge browser automatically switches to IE7 compatibility mode when this URL is called up.

So that URLs can be removed from or added to the Edge redirect list, there is a SA request "Redirect Edge Chromium/Internet Explorer" which must be used for such mutations; otherwise the company will not implement this request.

The corresponding SA request can be found in Remedy under
Start ➝ Create order and orders ➝ Enter order by order type
➝ Create SA request ➝ Redirect Edge Chromium/Internet Explorer

Attention, this SA request is apparently only executable by integration managers of an office or superuser, in case of problems please contact the BIT order management or the corresponding BIT account manager.
