CIS Data Verification and Corrections

CIS = Central Identity Store

Which attributes are verified?

During the identification process, the following attributes of yours, stored in the systems of the federal administration, are checked against your photo ID:
  • First name – if there are multiple first names in our records, all of them must be listed on your photo ID.
  • Last name – if there are two last names (without a hyphen) in our records, both must be listed on your photo ID.
  • Date of birth

How can I check my own attributes?

If you are equipped with VDI, you can access eIAM MyAccount in the web browser of the VDI solution and log in using the FED-LOGIN IdP.

The attributes currently stored in the system are displayed under ‘User profile’.

The master data first name, last name and date of birth cannot be edited by you, as they come from a trusted source (CIS data reference point) outside eIAM.

As the responsible contact in the federal administration, how can I check the attributes of a person?

Please contact your HR organisation.

How can I correct false/missing attributes?

Contact your federal administration contact. They can arrange for your data to be corrected via human resources processes.
